2021 Thanksgiving & Christmas events
UPDATE: Now that we are able to get back to some what normal we need our community's help. Requests for help with food and emergency funding have gone up and not being there for families is not an option !
If by 10/1 we do not reach our minimum goal needed sadly we will have to cancel our Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets event.

Some have asked what are our holiday food box events. This will be our 4th year providing turkeys/hams and all the fixings for a traditional holiday dinner to our veteran and military families . If we get donations of toys we have those available for the families as well.

Food box giveaway -
From Feb - October 2021 Every weekend we will be having a drive through contactless food distribution event. 30lb + fresh fruit, veggies, dairy, and 2 meats .
2019 Christmas Event
We will be partnering with the Family service . We will be at the Christmas event on the 21st of Dec. at the Readiness Center.

Thanksgiving 2019
We had a great event and helped over 25 families with turkey and a box of non perishable food items and fresh bread rolls.
we had donations of 15 turkeys thanks to Fred Meyer who once again stepped up to help us help those who served and are serving.
Thanksgiving 2018 Thank you to all the businesses who joined in and allowed their offices to be drop off sites !
We helped 35 families with Thanksgiving boxes that included Turkeys donated by Yakima Fred Meyer, food items donated by businesses and local supporters. We could not have done this with out you and we hope you will join us again next year to help us make it a bigger event.
Christmas 2018
Our first Christmas dinner give away was great with the help of amazing supporters and donors we were able to help over 45 families Thanks to Fred Meyers (turkeys) , Mt Olive Lutheran Church who donated (25 ) turkeys ,hams and canned food items and our local supporters who donated at our local drop off sites.
